YLPT is an accountability gym; we create workout programs for our members that are challenging yet achievable on your own, while arming you with practical knowledge on technique, nutrition and lifestyle choices.  Our qualified and certified trainers are always on hand for any questions you may have.

Driven by passion and motivation; Kaitlyn discovered the challenge of getting back into shape shortly after her first daughter was born.  After organizing a small summer boot camp in the park with childcare, she realized she wasn’t alone with her fitness challenges.  Kaitlyn set her sights on developing not only her fitness credentials but a gym that would be as encouraging as it was welcoming, while still challenging its members to achieve their fitness goals and thus Your Life Performance Training was established!

Kaitlyn thrives on seeing progression of both her business and her members and continues her commitment to both!  In her spare time, she continues to learn the art of balance between family-work-life spending her time camping, travelling and playing family game nights. 

What do you want to be remembered for:

“I want to be remembered as the “because of her gal”.  Someone who helped people see their potential and build up the confidence to pursue their dreams.”

Michelle Anderson

Michelle’s warm smile, calm demeanour and determined attitude make her a strong asset to the YLPT family.  Mother, paralegal assistant and personal trainer, Michelle is always on the move and working to better herself and others around her. Joining a YLPT boot camp session after her second child, Michelle fell in love with fitness and seeing results.  Following the boot camp, she sought to share her enthusiasm for fitness and began instructing and working for her training certifications. She continues to pour her time into inspiring and motivating her members to reach their goals and set the bar higher for themselves.  When she's not busy working, she loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.

one goal you have for 2018:

"To run a half marathon this year and hold a 5 minute plank with all the members in my class!"

A few months following the birth of her son, Kaitlin was encouraged to join YLPT because of the supervised childcare and she’s continually grateful for the nudge to do so! It has led her to becoming a certified personal trainer and more importantly led her to the personal fulfillment of helping others on their fitness journey’s.  Part of Kaitlin’s strength as a trainer lies in the fact that she leads by example, recognizing her struggle for progression in others - whether it’s running faster or lifting more.  Kaitlin continues to personally show and encourage her members that it takes work to see results.  In her spare time, Kaitlin spends time with her family and loves to read!

What's one cause or charity that you are passionate about:

“Donating blood is extremely important to me.  It’s an easy way to help people and I would encourage everyone that is able to, to donate!”
